What is a contractor billboard? This is a site format that we have created to help contractors get started with their online business. These are one page web sites that host all of the contractor's information and a short description of what they do. There is even a contact form built in so people interested in their services can send request for estimates.

The way it works is very simple and is intended for contractors that are not finacially ready for a full-on web site. The main benefit is the contractor gets a domain and makes it live on the internet so it can begin to age, which is very important.

That way in six months or a year, when they are ready to build a full site, they will have a step up on the ranking game. It is also a good idea for contractors own multiple businesses. You can get a presents started now and even sends some links to the domain to start building popularity.

We have priced the contractor billboard sites at only $99.95 per year and that includes the design and hosting. We do not do the marketing for the site as we do with full sites but that is not the purpose. Age is the key as well as securing a domain.

Really good idea!

However.....I still think that most contractors think that a professional web-site cost $2000-$5000. Everytime I tell someone what I spent for mine they think that I forgot a few digits. Or if I tell people how I rank in the search engines they think that WFC creates inexpensive websites and charge a fortune for the SEO work.

A starter website for under $100 is affordable enough for any budget. When you come up with a sample please post a link.

I think its a great idea. Guys like me may even be interested in buying one, I've always got future business ideas in my head but just don't have the time and money to get them started right now. So a domain and a billboard to sit and age like a fine wine is pretty cool IMO.

My friend does the same thing, but calls them one page advertisements. She said she charges a little less than this site does but it is a good service and there are too many people out there taking advantage of people when it comes to prices for websites.
