I would like to know what type of roofing would you use in the hotter areas of the world . It can get so hot that some times it can go up to 35°C . I would not like to put a a/c but I would like to keep the house cool .
That is a good question. Where I spend most of my time, it say pretty warm year around and very hot during summer months. I would like to know this as well, so I would not have to use the air so much.
This problem can be seen in many countries and many urbanized areas. But most people tend to use A/C machines as a cooling solution. Its hard to find people who do not use AC machines. I personally feel that we should focus on natural remedies to ensure healthy life.

Would using lighter colored shingles or painting the roof white help keep the building from heating up? I know in some cities they are painting the roof tops white to bounce the sunlight off the tops of the buildings rather than absorbing the heat. I live in Dallas and have wondered what is the best Dallas roofing to control not only the heat but sometimes the cold and rare snow.
