Well Labor day is finally here and the kids are going back to school. While it is sad that we are saying good-bye to the summer season, it is now time for homeowners to prepare their homes for the heating bill season.

I can attest to the efficiency, I have a friend that cut his bill by a 3rd!

| I have to agree with you on this one. I know of someone using them as well and they have not even finished replacing all the windows yet and have seen huge difference in their heating and cooling bills. I anticipate that once they are completed they will have a even larger savings. |

I am getting a bunch of positive feedback on the triple pane windows that we started using this year. Once spring hits I should be able to compare some heating bills and post the results.

The cost of replacement windows has a dramatic range. They range from really cheap to expensive, expertly crafted wood replacement windows. If cheap replacement windows are your goal, you'll find the prices of vinyl appealing. Figure out how many years you plan on staying in the condo or house. If it is less than five, consider vinyl replacement windows rather than wood.
