| I have heard that some vinyl window frames are made with gases between the Paynes. Why would they do this and are they dangerous. |

| They gases used are inert and by that it means not explosive, posionous, corrosive etc, it means they are nothing - I personally think the vacum is the best way forward as the transfer of hold/cold is greatly reduced |

Air is light weight.
Argon is heavier
Krypton gas is very heavy.
The heavier the gas the better the window will block out the bad stuff. (plain English)
