What is the best type of cleaners for pressure washing vinyl siding? Is there very much difference between one cleaner and another on this type of material?

You can use many different types of cleaners for vinyl siding. I have found vinyl to be very easy to clean. Off the shelf cleaners from your local home improvement store will work fine. Just get cleaners labeled for house washing and you'll be fine.

Nope. I use a Sodium Hydroxide w/Butyl and good ole elbow grease with brush. It's an upsell of course.

Barry -

I have used F13 on gutters, with pretty good success. I have had to boost my cleaner/water ratio, but I've only run into a couple jobs that required a lot of scrubbing, and I believe that was due to the colder weather in early April.

I use Simple Cherry as well - it clings very well and has a great rinse aid so I never have to worry about spots on windows.

I own one of Southeast PA pressure washing companies. We do a bunch of house washes every year. I think the best ingredient in a chemical mix is sodium metasilicate. The molecule has a scubbing action and it is great for suspending dirt and mold to allow for easy rinsing. Sodium metasilicate, some high quality car wash and good ole bleach are all you ever need.
