I went on a cruise this year and I have to say, I couldn't wait to go but once I was there, it didn't seem to be all it was made out to be. Sure there was a lot of stuff to do, but not like everyone says. Every excursion you do cost out the ying-yang and most aren't what they look like on the videos you see on the boat.

I mentioned in another post that I went to Mexico a couple years back and if I had to choose which was the better of the two, Mexico was a lot more fun and the fact that we could walk the beach at night, deep sea fish in the day and watch different shows each night without getting sea sick made the experience much more enjoyable.

What kind of experience has everyone else had on cruises and would you go again or would you find somewhere else to go?

I've been on two cruises - one on the Norwegian Jewel (NCL) and one on the Queen Elizabeth 2 (Cunard Lines) and in my opinion, they were amazing- I've never had more fun!

They are very expensive, but if you only choose to go on guided tours for a few stops, it isn't as bad.

I heard cruises are very dangerous. I've seen CNN do some documentaries showing how dangerous it could be. I saw once on the Morri show that a man was killed and no one even knew. It is also said, if you fall overboard, they won't turn back for you.

It is very scary and I don't even want to take a risk and do it. It looks fun on the commericals but, I highly doubt it is that fun.

I try to take a vacation each year at some point, generally it is when we have the least amount of business. Which can very from time to time. We have a very strange market here when it comes to building.
