I would like to hear from some flooring people as to which of the two you prefer and how a person can determine which one will be best for their property. I do some rehabbing of houses and want to know which will help it sell better or which is cheaper.

I personally prefer carpeted floors, but it seems that hardwood floors are a better for those looking to sell their homes. Brand new hardwood floors can look exceptional. I would go with what the client wants.

yes you are right but there are many advantage of carpet floor because it need more care and when we goes to cleanig it take more efforts in compare to wood floor. When there is any stain or wine spot carpet then you have to call a professional carpet cleaner which charge a lot. So, in my opinion you have to use wood flor

Wooden floors add more value to your apartment or house because they are more expensive to begin with and there are very few people that would say a wooden floor isnt looking good. So it doesnt depend on taste as much as carpets do.

Hi,

The following article lists some simple, informative tips that will help you have a better experience with pass4sure HP0-D07.

I trust that what you've read so far has been informative. The following section should go a long way toward clearing up any uncertainty that may remain.
I agree with all. I love my hardwoods. pass4sure 1D0-635 As has been related, you have to maintain them, as they do "show the dirt" as my dear mom would say. I would recommend if you are going to invest in them, do get the thickness that can be refinished should you ever need to. HW floors enhance resale of home. Coveted as a feature by most buyers. pass4sure 642-813 Great design feature. In some locations of the home you will need to additionally spring for rugs, so you will want to keep that in mind, since rugs aren't cheap, either. pass4sure HP2-Z16 To me, hardwoods are worth both the investment and upkeep.

Hello,
Carpets are very quiet, absorbing sound from many sources such as walking, TV and radio.

Hardwood floors do not absorb sound at all and are extremely noisy. However, the noise can be minimized by strategically placing area rugs.

Wall-to-wall carpeting often gets picked because it's a lot less costly to install than brand new hardwood floors. However, you may have hardwoods underneath your existing carpet and not even know it. Tearing up old carpeting and refinishing existing wood floors is usually less expensive than buying and installing all new carpeting.

Also, hardwood floors last a lot longer than carpets. It's true that you may need to refinish them from time to time, but carpets start to look ragged and beg for replacement after a mere five years or so. After ten years, you'll look at that oft-stained, outdated carpet and wonder if it's a health hazard. A hardwood floor never goes out of style. The biggest downside of carpeting is that they aren't very friendly for allergy sufferers or anyone who is concerned about indoor pollution, which can include things such as pollen, dust, pet dander, mold, and mildew. Carpets can be breeding grounds for all of these. Even if you vacuum and wash your carpets on a regular basis, it is impossible to really get them clean, because dust and grime sift through the backing of the carpet and get between it and the pad beneath. Dampness from a carpet shampooing can actually encourage more things to grow down there.

Thanks
