I have been welding pipe for a long time and I've run across some good welders, but one field of welders always seems to produce some of the best, and that is refrigeration piping welders. I don't know if it is because they don't want to have to repair a leak on pipe full on ammonia or if they are just that good, but I'll give credit where it is due and those guys know their stuff.

What do you think causes them to be the best. Does is require a different type of welding or something that the others do not in the training.
