We all know that there are some activities that are common among construction sites. Such as the materials being blown or washed into the street or gutter, etc.
As a contractor, site supervisor, owner or operator of a site, taking responsibility for the environmental damage caused by your subcontractors or employees is something that should always be looked at.
I would like to know how you respond to cases like this or how you ensure that this is not happening. |

| I have meeting with my employees and sub contractors on each project on a regular basis with reminders of what should be done to protect the materials and the neighbors where the work is being completed. |

| Never thought about doing this. They are not long meeting are they and when do you generally have these meetings and how often? those would be some things I would want to be able to figure out a time for. |

Personally I use my ground workers to keep the site tidy and to enusre that any re-cycling and or disposal of materials is carried out correctly - obviously the supersivor checks up.
For me a tidy site demonstrates proffesionalism and for me its a very, very important aspect of site work and client perception |

| That is correct. I never really thought of using other employees to do this. Then my construction workers will not be tied up doing this and my grounds grew will have work when there is nothing else to do. |
