| What are some of the best marketing and advertising strategies for construction businesses. I know that many rely on word of mouth and placing advertising signs on vehicles. But what are some of the others methods being used out there. |

| The biggest thing is to know your market, who are you aiming for then go after them. Word of mouth is great but you can't always control that. I would say direct mail is always good. If you know the type of people who need your service then you should be able to get in front of them before they buy. Just look at trucks. We need a new truck every 3-4 years, so my local Ford guy starts calling and sending me letters at 3 years. Lets me know when stuff is coming. So I buy from him. Same thing in every business. |

| Good service is not enough, you need to actively look for customers, otherwise they will go to your competition |

Good service and good marketing technique. But...But always keep your eyes open and know the strength and weakness of your competitors. |
