| When I interview people, I look at the total education along with the experience they have in a certain area. If they are willing to or have exposure to other areas that is where I promote them to eventually. I like to give them certain duties to begin with to see they are going to be able to follow instructions. |

| You all have to use your gut instinct, a lot of people may interview well and have the right qualifications, but you know in yourself if they are going to be an assest |

| i agree with going with the gut. sometimes that is your best bet. because someone on paper may be the one person who gives you a problem. dont just depend on what you see on the paper |

It's all well and good having an interview but I have always found giving candidates practical assignments to complete a better guide as to how competent the candidate is with regards to problem solving and being practical. Unfortunately as a builder in surey there are very few talented youngsters out there who are good with time keeping and problem solving.

If you are dealing with new employee then you need to care of some points which can help to understan the employee.
1. Give him a time to urgest his self in new office environment.
2. Talk generaly with the employee which can give you idea about his thougt.
3. Give him a detail document about the company policy and other term and condition.
4. Suggest him to talk to every one in the office |
