What are the best methods of dealing with new employees and what measures can and should be taken to ensure they will be the best pick for your business.
When I interview people, I look at the total education along with the experience they have in a certain area. If they are willing to or have exposure to other areas that is where I promote them to eventually. I like to give them certain duties to begin with to see they are going to be able to follow instructions.
You all have to use your gut instinct, a lot of people may interview well and have the right qualifications, but you know in yourself if they are going to be an assest
i agree with going with the gut. sometimes that is your best bet. because someone on paper may be the one person who gives you a problem. dont just depend on what you see on the paper
