When you first become a contractor who want to hire their own crew what would you say determines the amount that you pay a particular position, such how much and what determines the amount you would pay office staff, and carpenters, electricians and so on.

Your finger should always be on the pulse of your local area and you can see via the laocal press as to twhat the local rates are for differing trades, plus you speak to your friends to get ideas of thier pay rates

Ok suppose that the going rate in an area for an electrician is $30/hour but you find that someone is not living up to the quality and work that $30 an hour is. How do you handle that.
