I would like to see a new "marketing" forum where we could all post about marketing, sales, closing, lead generating, customer service, profit margins, acquisition costs, and such.

One way to grow your business is by looking at how companies in other industries operate, kind of like looking outside the box. I would love to read about how guys in other industries get the phone to ring.

What do you guys think?

I'll second that. A sales & Marketing area would be great.

I agree with you guys so guess what? The forums have been added and are ready for you to view. The new Construction Business and Marketing forum should handle your request nicely and I modified the Online Promoting For Contractors title to read as Internet Marketing For Contractors. This will make the forum more open to marketing online or what is commonly called "Search Engine Marketing"

This has already been done and it will be good for some people. But many contractors themselves will send others to come in and take care of this portion because they are too busy doing what they need to.
