Question: Do any of the blogs in your network carry "nofollow" tags on the links pointing back to the customers website? If so, please explain why you use them and how that is going to help my site rank higher in the search results?

Answer: Yes. Most of the blogs in our network carry nofollow tags on certain pages, but NOT on the post pages that link back to your site. Here's why. You'll only be on the index page for a week or two at the most. Then you get very little since all the link juice from the site is being consumed by the front page and only a small amount is passing down to the posts. So to provide a more long term effect, place nofollow tags for all outbound links on the index page and category pages. This funnels the link juice down to the actual posts since nothing is leaving the site until you reach the actual posts which is the TOPIC specific page that links to your site. Another trick we do to further the effect is stripping almost all of the internal links off the posts pages so they pass the maximum amount back to your site. This setup is far better and will continue to pass good link juice to your site on a long term basis, not just for a few weeks giving a false sense of ranking that is sure to drop.

Question: How many different websites can I promote when signing up for one of the packages? Will I have to buy a new package for each domain I want to promote? And what about deeplinking into my site? can I link to internal pages or am I limited to the homepage only?

So if you write a post about fishing, we will include links to fishingsite1.com or any page within that domain (deeplink) but we will not link to fishingsite1.com and fishingsite2.com from the same post. If you have a second or third domain that you want to promote, then you will have to tell us how to divide up the article topics. For example, with a 30 post campaign, you could have us write ten articles about the keywords you are targeting with each of the websites which would result in ten posts with links pointing to site A, ten posts with links pointing to site B and ten posts with links pointing to site C.

Question: I have a website that promotes health and skin care products. Are the blogs in your network themed for this kind of site or are they general? If general, how is that going to benefit my site and are the search engines going to see the posts as relevant?

As for building links with blogs, I can not stress enough that the topic of the home page or any other page besides the actual post made for you means nothing.
