Google PR Export Track Pagerank Updates

The next Google PR export is coming soon so make sure to install your Google toolbar so you can view your pagerank now and what it does after Google exports the updated info.

Update: Google has updated the PR in your browser by performing a pagerank export just as we predicted.

We are now going to start posting every Google PR export that happens to give everyone a more precise record for tracking pagerank updates. Details about the pagerank exports will be shown in the comments below and a summary will be posted here for quick reference.

WebPro July 20, 2008 Votes: +9	Google has performed another pagerank export around July 26, 2008. This may vary by one or two days depending on which Google datacenter your browser connects with. We have verified this information by reviewing the hundreds of blog posts we make each day. New posts will not show PR until an export is performed and with so many blogs, we can verify it almost down to the hour. The export show very recent data since posts made as recently as July, 21 2008 now show PR meaning the info had to have been no earlier than that day or the posts could not have any pagerank. (and you thought the info was months old, so much for that theory!) report abuse vote down vote up


WebPro December 31, 2008 Votes: +2	Wow! I can't believe Google has already performed another Pagerank export. They seem to be updating the PR shown in the browser more often that I've ever seen in the past. It seems as if this is becoming a monthly thing instead of a quarterly process. I would love to know if Google has made any official statements about this or if they have acknowledged the export activity. Seems like Google has gone away from updating the browser every 3 months and are just doing it whenever they feel like it. report abuse vote down vote up
